Vic: Three killed in crossing smash
MELBOURNE, Aug 5 AAP - Three people were killed when a car was hit by a train at a
level crossing in Melbourne's north-west early today.
Police said the crash occurred on the level crossing at Furlong Road, St Albans, about 6.15am.
It's believed the car was struck by a Sunshine-bound train.
The bodies of the three were still to be removed from the wreckage of the car, a police
spokeswoman said.
Bus services were replacing trains between Sunshine and Sydenham railway stations.
