Vic: One dead after car hits tree, central Victoria
A person has died when a vehicle slammed into a tree and caught fire today on the McIvor
Highway, in central Victoria this morning.
A rural ambulance spokeswoman says paramedics were called to the accident, near Axedale,
east of Bendigo, at 7.18am (AEDT).
She says the driver was dead when paramedics arrived.
It's not immediately known whether the victim is a man or a woman.
