ALBANY - With the fate of the proposed Albany Convention Center undecided, authority officials say they are almost out of work to do as they await a final decision on funding.
The state has retained auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers to do a feasibility study of the project that calls for building a hotel and convention center in downtown Albany. The authority is seeking an additional $190 million for the project, whose price tag has grown from $200 million when the state first agreed to finance it to $397.5 million.
